چکیده
ObjectiveTo evaluate timing and a prediction model for pregnancy in early-stage cervical cancer patients who underwent fertility-sparing trachelectomy.DesignRetrospective cohort.SettingAcademic multicenter.Patient(s)Women ages <45 years with clinical stage I–II were enrolled between 2009 2013 (n = 393).Intervention(s)Planned trachelectomy.Main Outcome Measure(s)Cumulative incidences clinicopathological characteristics of those developed subsequent examined.Result(s)There 77 (21.6%) women had pregnancies after trachelectomy 1-, 2-, 5-year cumulative rates 2.8%, 6.2%, 17.4%, respectively. The median time to develop was 3.2 years. In competing risk analysis, higher recurrent than conception during the first 11 months postsurgery. On multivariable younger age, being married, postoperative reproductive treatment independently associated an increased chance developing pregnancy. index (SPI) score predict likelihood having proposed, it calculated based on marital status, (2, 2, 4 points, respectively). Women SPI significantly (5-year rate; 3 4.7% cases; 5 11.3%; 6 7 27.4%; 8 50.8%), but they similar recurrence (5.0%).Conclusion(s)The proposed our study is useful predicting undergoing trachelectomy. Fertility-Sparing Surgery for Early-Stage Cervical Cancer
Nowadays cervical cancer is diagnosed in many women who still want to have children. This led to the need to provide fertility-sparing treatments. The main goal is to maintain reproductive ability without decreasing overall and recurrence-free survival. In this article, we review data on procedures for fertility preservation, namely, vaginal and abdominal trachelectomy, less invasive surgery an...

OBJECTIVES Radical trachelectomy has emerged as a reasonable fertility-sparing operation for selected patients with stage I cervical cancer. The purpose of this report is to describe our technique of radical abdominal trachelectomy, a fertility-sparing operation in women with cervical cancer, and review the current literature on this procedure. METHODS A review of a prospectively maintained d...
متن کاملA less radical treatment option to the fertility-sparing radical trachelectomy in patients with stage I cervical cancer.
The purpose of the two pilot studies was to determine the feasibility and safety of using less-radical fertility-preserving surgery: laparoscopic lymphadenectomy with sentinel lymph node identification (SLNI) followed by a large cone or simple trachelectomy (LAP-I protocol) and the LAP-III protocol, which includes neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC). LAP-I: Forty women underwent laparoscopic SLNI, f...
